Climate. Compassion. Common Sense
These words encompass and inform the policies I will put forward as your representative.
First, we must address climate change. By working together and embracing renewable energy, we can reduce the number and severity of the wildfires, droughts, and storms that impact our state. It has to be our top priority.
Second, we need to ensure any policy or legislation we consider is compassionate to our neighbors. For too long, we have enacted laws that benefit the few to the detriment of the most vulnerable among us. This is not a zero-sum game. We can protect the rights of individuals while improving our quality of life as a society.
Finally, we have to use common sense. The solutions to many of the problems we face today already exist, and they have been proven to work in other countries and states. All that's left to do is put them into action here and now.
Following these principles will lead us to a better Colorado for all.
